Add some min margin to sidenotes?

Hi! I'm using sphinx-book-theme and I really like the sidenotes. However, when I have a few of them close enough in the main text, they don't leave any space between them, which I think makes it more difficult to find when the sidenote begins. For example:

Is it possible to add some min bottom margin to the sidenotes?
