I love writing algorithms, hence I applied to the competitive Founders & Coders bootcamp to pursue a career as a full-stack JavaScript Developer. Throughout the bootcamp I have learned a substantial amount which makes me a great fit for any team. I really enjoyed the various stages in each project’s lifecycle including design, research, building, testing, automation and deployment. Most importantly, I learned a lot through research, reading documentation, debugging and refactoring code.
Sam is from the wilds of Shropshire where he grew up without tv and invented the hyperloop so he could get to his grandparents without traffic. Sadly Elon Musk claimed the idea.
He has since built some businesses with epic success and failure and worked in AI measuring human emotions. Out of curiosity he has visited North Korea, lived in the woods of Tasmania, and hitchhiked across Kazakstan. His podcast Growth Mindset Podcast is regularly in the top ten iTunes chart for philosophy (across the world).
Christine is a curious junior web-developer, particularly interested in neat functionality and the backend. She has grown up in the Bavarian countryside but soon found her curiosity for the world which led her to travel and live in various countries. She has now settled in London where her previous role was as a project manager in website personalisation. This has taught her a holistic approach to website projects.
Inspired by programming challenges she encountered in the workplace, she picked up coding alongside her day job and found her passion.
Georgia is from London but also spent part of her childhood in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since graduating in 2016, she's volunteered at the Rio Olympics, worked on a cruise ship, and just before starting Founders & Coders she was working at a mortgage fintech startup. When she's not at a computer, you can find her at the theatre, practising her crow pose, or perhaps teaching her Scout Troop to code.
