Looks good to me. On AWS, most customers use Graviton/ARM for most of their environment.

In addition to being fast, it is good for the environment, infrastructure costs and ESG initiatives.

As you created this issue on the github-action repo but the title mentions ScanCentral Client, which of the two are you asking about exactly?

ScanCentral Client is used by, but not hosted in this repository, Best would be to open a support ticket through the OpenText Support Portal, such that the respective team can keep track of such requests and prioritize if needed.

As for the GitHub Action, some functionality is based on ScanCentral Client, so we won't be able to support arm64 until that's supported by ScanCentral Client.

Other than than, the GitHub Action is heavily based on fcli. No arm64 version of fcli is currently available, but the GitHub Action should fall back to the plain Java version of fcli, which I suppose should work just fine on arm64 platforms. We've never tested this scenario though.

For now, fcli, Fortify GitHub Action, and related tests can only utilize free GitHub-hosted runners, I'd need to check whether we can somehow get access to arm64 runners, which likely will allow us to build a native arm64 version of fcli, and allow us to test the GitHub Action on such platforms (at least the parts that don't use ScanCentral Client).
