Links to BSB–LAN–related projects

fredlcore edited this page Jun 23, 2024 · 1 revision

This is a list of links to projects that have been developed around BSB-LAN and complement its use. Please take note that in case of questions etc., you have to get in touch with the maintainers/authors of these projects directly. Also, some of these projects may be based on older versions of BSB-LAN and thus not necessarily work with current versions of BSB-LAN, in case they haven't been maintained for some time.

  • BSB-LAN contributor @dukess has created a BSB-LAN fork that supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors such as the Xiamo Mijia sensors. A complete list of supported sensors can be found here.

  • GitHub user @DE-cr has created BSBmonCR, a software that runs on an ESP32 which connects to BSB-LAN and then monitors selected values and displays them as graphs on an optional external display.

  • GitHub user @DaddySun has come up with a solution for ESPeasy on how to use an ESP8266-based Wemos D1 with an attached DHT22 temperature sensor to periodically send the room temperature to the heater via BSB-LAN. You can find the schematics for the project here.

  • An interesting, but unfortunately currently outdated solution to emulate a room unit that sends the room temperature to the heater and also displays several parameters has been developed by FHEM user Andreas29. If someone wants to implement this using the custom code structure of BSB-LAN, please let us know! Information about this approach can be found here and here (unfortunately in German only).
