Use in or logical operators for large set?

Support I want to randomize variable i between 0 and 65535.

i >= 0
i <= 65535

vs.

i in vsc.rangelist(vsc.rng(0,65536))

Which is preferably and why?

I profiled the two cases, there is no apparent different in performance.
