Ceylon Potters' Pallet App

Ceylon Potters' Palette App is a standalone and customized IT solution designed to streamline and centralize key functions for the Ceylon Potters' Palette pottery production company. This application optimizes employee, stock, supplier, and order management processes while providing insightful dashboards and profit analysis, driving efficiency and productivity.

Overview

This comprehensive software solution includes the following key modules:

• Employee Management: Track and manage employee details.
• Employee Attendance Management: Monitor attendance via QR code scanning or manual ID entry.
• Supplier Management: Streamline supplier data and interactions.
• Salary Management: Automate salary calculations and tracking.
• Stock Management: Manage product and repair stock efficiently, including inventory levels and updates.
• Customer & Order Management: Track customer data, orders, and supplier interactions.
• Interactive Dashboard: Analyze key business metrics such as today's sales, stock levels, employee attendance, total production, and more. Includes a bar graph showcasing income vs. expenses for profit analysis.
• Order Pop-ups and Billing: View detailed order information in pop-ups and generate customized bills for each customer and supplier order.
• Search Functionality: Search filters are implemented for customers, suppliers, employees, stock, and sales for better user experience.
• Security Features: Includes QR code scanning for account deletion, OTP-based password recovery, and email confirmation for account actions.
• Notifications: Sends welcome messages upon sign-up and confirmation emails for password changes or account deletions.

The system features a comprehensive profit analysis module that provides insights into business performance, aiding in better decision-making.

Getting Started

To get started with the project, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/gayanukabulegoda/Ceylon-Potters-Palette.git
   

2. Prerequisites::

   • Ensure you have the latest version of Java and JavaFX installed (JDK 8 or higher).
   • You will need an IDE like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse to run the project.
   • Make sure to install MySQL and any additional libraries or dependencies as required.

3. Run the Application::

   • Open the project in your preferred IDE.
   • Build and run the project to launch the application.
