Postgresql, data and functional programming - OPPORTUNITY

I have been talking with a US based client - they are interested in finding a JS developer who is interested in learning functional programming.

To begin with they have an initial 1 month piece of work, then if it goes well they are interested to hire long term.

The initial task (one month - paid)

This is mostly a data processing task with the following workflow

• Download a CSV file from amazon S3
• Design postgresql table schema
• Create python cleaning script
• Deploy database schema to AWS
• Upload CSV to database

For this you will be expected to learn basic python - but the code should be very simple.

If the developer is interested in learning Haskell, the client would be interested in training them in this and having them join the team.
