Bug: Impossible to clone another repo when a merge with conflicts is in progress #977

Steps:

  1. Clone the repo, e.g. file -> clone -> paste git@github.com:richardtop/CalendarKit.git

  2. Create 2 branches that will have conflicts with each other

  3. Try to merge one branch into another, so that the "merge view" with the conflicts appears

  4. Open another GitUp and repeat the step 1, cloning the same repo: git@github.com:richardtop/CalendarKit.git and cloning it into a different directory, for example CalendarKit_Reference

  5. The GitUp doesn't clone the repo and instead writes "not on any branch anymore" in the newly opened window

  6. Expected result: GitUp opens a new window and clones the repository.
