Browsing HEAD Ancestors with GitUp
GitUp lets you rapidly browse the first 1,000 ancestors commits of the current HEAD and jump to them instantly in the Map.
Choose "Browse HEAD Ancestors…" in the "Repository" menu to show the HEAD Ancestors pane. Using the mouse or arrow keys, you can see information about the ancestor commits and navigate between them.
- You can enter Quick View for the selected ancestor commit by pressing Spacebar
