Gnocchi backlog in the incoming driver has no size limit. It would be great to be able to implement a limit so the queue does not explode.

Note to others, this would be good to have but from an operational perspective monitoring the pressure on your Gnocchi installation using the status endpoint for the REST API [1] is crucial to knowing how to scale your workers.
