Hello,
there's a lot of FUD and misinformation going around. On Twitter, Discord, Reddit and TG.
We're trying to address as much as possible of them on Discord but if it does not come from a Crew member, people don't believe it when we say it's wrong, even if some of us are there every day, but of course they believe everyone else.
When we tell the people to wait for official announcements about it, and these official announcement don't come, the FUD gets spread even more.
1/ I would like to suggest some more official Moderators (as part of the crew) with more rights to post or delete things, since spammers and scammers start coming too. At the moment it's only SamWang as a mod on Discord, but since he doesn't show up as part of the Crew and the colour of his name is only slightly different than normal members, people don't notice it.
2/ Since 2 days people are noticing that the website gets flagged as "malicious" by Firefox users.
I personally have noticed that following links from within Github to the site gno.land/r/boards Brave browser gives a warning that it's not safe. Only since this morning CET it gets redirected to testnet2 so this might be fixed.
3/ Many people still believe that the "calculator" by Disperze team is correct, despite that we're trying to tell people it's not and it's only a testnet thing. There's also claims that Binance would get 42 million $GNOT according to that "calculator" so unless there's an official tweet or Discord announcement about it, people keep spreading the word, no matter what we try.
4/ I personally added some comments to the gist from the top 50 addresses by @moul but did not get any replies. I know you've been busy, but people would like to where we stand on that.
5/ Nobody knows if the things we write in Discord (especially regarding Governance) are actually being read or taken into consideration.
