The pollux'NZ City project aims at creating a network of autonomous wireless network of sensors that uploads the measures on any data silos on Internet.
Here you will find the documentation that can help bootstrap and reuse the project. Here are the main components we used in the project:
- The Beaglebone,
- The Arduino,
- Several ATTiny85 (one per sensor module),
- two XBee S2 modules for the radio transmission.
- For the battery, you'll need the Seeedstudio LiPo battery pack and power management,
- Voltage booster for 12V sensors: RB-0512S
For the sensors, at the time of the beta we have implemented the following sensors:
- implemented in beta test:
- PM10 sensor: Sharp GP2Y1010AU0F with <PM10 filters from Whatman
- Temperature with precision: honeywell TD4A-1048
- Internal temperature: MCP9700/9701
- SPL measure: Piezo microphone
- Fan: KDE0504PKV2
- implemented but not tested on field:
- NO2 sensor: Citytech EZT3ND/H
- CO sensor (
/!\
way out of pollution spec): Citytech EZT3E/F
