There's already some logic for reason files:

ocamlearlybird/src/debugger/core/symbols/symbols.ml

Lines 60 to 63 in 3c22568

    
                            dir ^ "/" ^ String.uncapitalize_ascii module_id' ^ ".ml"; 
        
                            dir ^ "/" ^ String.uncapitalize_ascii module_id' ^ ".re"; 
        
                            dir ^ "/" ^ module_id' ^ ".ml";

But maybe that's not enough.
