Keyboard input #18

I'm wondering whether it is possible to get (alphanumeric) keyboard input directed to Csound when running in Emacs using the csound-mode.

I run using C-c C-p but keyboard events are handled by emacs and do not seem to reach Csound in some way.
Thanks!

P.S. Emacs 26.3, OSX 11.2.3, Csound installed using brew
