The Ticket System is a web-based application designed to manage and track tickets efficiently. Whether it's issues, requests, or any task that requires systematic tracking, this system offers a user-friendly interface and robust features to ensure smooth operations.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (version 14.x or later)
  • npm (Node package manager) or yarn

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/homayunmmdy/Ticket-System.git
    cd Ticket-System
  2. Install the dependencies:

    npm install

    Or if you prefer Yarn:

    yarn install
  3. Set up the environment variables:

    • Create a .env.local file in the root directory.
    • Add the necessary environment variables, for example:
      MONGODB_URI=<your-mongodb-connection-string>
      NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=<your-api-url-if-any>
  4. Run the application:

    npm run dev

    Or if you prefer Yarn:

    yarn dev

    The application will be accessible at http://localhost:3000/.

Usage

  1. Create a Ticket:

    • After logging in, users can create a new ticket by clicking on the "Create Ticket" button.
    • Fill in the required details such as Title, Description, and Priority.
  2. Manage Tickets:

    • View all tickets on the dashboard.
    • Click on a ticket to view its details, comment, or change its status.
