Hello World, I'm Himangshu.

  • 📺 I create educational content on various CS topics on my Youtube channel.
  • 🚙 I am a Software Developer working on building Autonomous Driving systems. In general my experience / interests broadly cover Algorithms, Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Visualization.
  • 🎮 I love building cool interactive projects. Here I generate random Procedural Trees in Bevy and here, random isometric tile-maps in Godot using Wave Function Collapse.
  • ♟️ I like to develop game AI algorithms. Xewali is a moderately strong chess engine that I developed in C++. I also wrote a game playing AI for the board game Agricola.
  • 🦀 I enjoy solving programming puzzles. My favorite programming language is Rust. I developed a small Rust library for Advent of Code puzzles. I use it for IO handling and simple functionalities for common data structures such as grids, ranges etc.
  • 🎓 I have a PhD in Computer Science. My publications are listed on Google Scholar.
  • 🏡 I am from Assam, in North-East India. I am natively proficient in English, অসমীয়া (Assamese) and हिन्दी (Hindi). Currently I live in Munich, Germany.
