Support for other omnivision 2mp sensors?

Is it possible to use 2mp sensors other than ov2640 from omnivision with the code here? Say like ov2710(2mp, with autofocus added) or ov2311(with global shutter). It would be great if we could use the code with those sensor above, cuz we could get better image quality without much extra code and processing power. Thx.
