Top of screen is desynced on LG smart TV when line doubler is not enabled. #97
Comments
Upon further tinkering I found that it has something to do with my TVs game optimization. When I take the tv out of low input lag mode it shows it properly but introduces input lag. So it seems with my particular tv and the way it handles low delay inputs and screen refreshing is causing an issue with the display. Sadly my tv uses the standard hdmi converters from composite just fine but is worse quality than this. |
Did you ever find a solution using GCVideo? I'm having the same problem on my LG Tv too |
Yo,
So I still have the same TV. I was able to get it working using a GCHD
mk-II eon and an mclassic in progressive scan mode. I had tried the prism
adapter originally and got those results I posted about. The solution I’m
using now is very nice and I recommend it.
Thanks,
GCvideo friend

Thank you. Does the mk-II eon work by itself? I can get that but it's pretty difficult to get the mclassic affordably where I live. Thanks |
Hello,
I’m noticing some image desync/misalignment on the top 10% of my screen. When line doubler is enabled this issue is not present but I cannot turn line doubler on for 480p. In 480i line doubler introduces substantial lag or that would be the solution.
The top of the display is always “behind” and is showing something that was previously there. Images included below.
I tried disabling the resolution fix and sync fix in both 480i and 480p but neither of those options eliminated or even moved the location of the desync. This happens in all games when line doubler is not enabled.
is this a tv hardware issue?
