Rake tasks for managing Github repositories.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'rake_github'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install rake_github
Sets up rake tasks for managing deploy keys and merging pull requests.

Exposes tasks:
$ rake -T
rake github:deploy_keys:destroy
rake github:deploy_keys:ensure

Provisions deploy keys to the specified repository.
Destroys deploy keys from the specified repository.
Destroys and then provisions deploy keys on the specified repository.
Merges the PR associated with the branch_name
. Branch name is required.
commit_message
is optional, and can contain the original commit message with
the %s
placeholder, e.g. pull_requests:merge[new_feature,"%s [skip ci]"]
.
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run
rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive
prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To
release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run
bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push
git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to
rubygems.org.
To encrypt a GPG key for use by CircleCI:
