What is Hacktoberfest?

A month-long celebration from October 1st - 31st sponsored by Digital Ocean and GitHub to get people involved in Open Source. Create your very first pull request to any public repository on GitHub and contribute to the open source developer community.

Steps To Contribute

1.Fork the repo on your github profile from the fork button on top right corner.

2.Clone the forked repository on your machine.

git clone https://github.com/Your-username/To-Do-List-Hacktoberfest.git

3.Choose any of the taskes mentioned below and Send us a Pull Request discribing the updates you have added.

Choose from these Tasks

1.Any possible UI updates.

2.Adding a local database(Room/Sqlite) and perform the following tasks:-

  • Add task.
  • Delete task.
  • Update task.

3.Add Real Time FireBase Database to store all the tasks addded to the list from local database and synchronize it with the local database with all the changes.

  • Note -Do not send your google-config.json file in pull request otherwise it won't be accepted

4.Refer to issues for more tasks.

5.Any other useful updates that comes to your mind.

This open-source project has been made by the dedicated team of students under IoT Labs,KIIT. IoT Lab at KIIT is a group of committed students who work under the guidance of a group of capable and supportive teachers who guide us through each phase and stage. IoT Lab is a research forum that examines the possibilities of crowdsourcing and the Internet of Things for transdisciplinary research and initiatives that involve greater end-user participation.
