Since the endpoint is now available on ipitio.github.io/backage, the raw.githubusercontent.com url is now EOL. The old url hasn't been updated recently and will soon stop working, so please update your links to the one in the readme!

Now that the data is in gh-pages, does it still make sense to create a github release each day? If it's necessary, that's fine, just I get an announcement for each one in my feed which is kind of annoying. It would be better if there were only a release when the source code changes, not necessarily the index.

The data in gh-pages is loaded from the database stored under the latest release. About once every month so far, uploading to the release fails due to a 5XX error and the asset goes missing. The previous days are used as a backup to minimize interruption when this happens. There definitely are better alternatives for storing databases, but I'd like to stick to the theme of using GitHub for everything backage-related. Besides, it's the data itself that's important about this project, not how it's collected.

I'm also using the daily releases as a free healthcheck to tell if I'm getting rate limited at a glance. However, it seems that everything is running smoothly and having a few-days-old backup isn't a big deal in the long run, so I'll move to weekly releases. If you then find that's still annoying, I'll consider dropping down to monthly.
