Security Policy

Supported Versions

CyberScraper 2077 currently maintains security updates for the following versions:

Security Features

CyberScraper 2077 implements several security measures:

  • Stealth mode parameters to avoid detection
  • Proxy support for anonymous scraping (pending)
  • Rate limiting to prevent server overload
  • Secure API key handling
  • OAuth 2.0 implementation for Google Sheets integration
  • Onion Routing for onion links

Reporting a Vulnerability

We take security vulnerabilities seriously. If you discover a security issue, please follow these steps:

  1. DO NOT open a public GitHub issue.

  2. Send a detailed report to owensingh72@gmail.com with:

    • Description of the vulnerability
    • Steps to reproduce
    • Potential impact
    • Suggested fix (if any)
  3. Response Time:

    • Initial response: Within 48 hours
    • Status update: Every 72 hours until resolution
    • Resolution timeline: Typically within 2 weeks
  4. What to Expect:

    • Acknowledgment of your report
    • Regular updates on the progress
    • Credit in the security advisory (unless you prefer to remain anonymous)
    • Notification when the fix is deployed

Security Best Practices

When using CyberScraper 2077:

  1. API Keys:

    • Store API keys in environment variables
    • Never commit API keys to version control
    • Rotate keys regularly
  2. Rate Limiting:

    • Respect the default rate limits
    • Adjust scraping delays based on target website requirements
    • Use the built-in retry mechanisms
  3. Proxy Usage (pending):

    • Use trusted proxy services
    • Rotate proxies for large-scale scraping
    • Monitor proxy health and reliability
  4. Data Handling:

    • Encrypt sensitive scraped data
    • Clean up temporary files
    • Follow data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Security Updates

  • Security patches are released as soon as vulnerabilities are fixed
  • Updates are announced through GitHub releases
  • Critical updates are flagged in the documentation
  • Release notes include detailed security impact information

We follow responsible disclosure practices:
