Inverted Index

Build Status

An inverted index consists of a list of all the unique words that appear in any document, and for each word, a list of the documents in which it appears.

Installation

  1. Download and install Node JS if not already installed.
  2. Clone the repository here or go to the project github page here and download the zip file of the project. Unzip it.
  3. Navigate to your terminal and change your directory to the inverted-index project directory.
  4. Check that you are on the master branch using git status.
  5. Run npm install express -g on the terminal.

Usage

Run npm start on your terminal while within the project root directory.
Navigate to http://localhost:8084

Contributing

  1. Fork it!
  2. Create your feature branch: git checkout -b my-new-feature
  3. Commit your changes: git commit -m 'Add some feature'
  4. Push to the branch: git push origin my-new-feature
  5. Submit a pull request :D
