👍 Is there a reason this hasn't been merged? I don't see a comment on this or the issue it's referring to. Is whenever still under active development?

It would be more preferable if it supports an option to specify --trace argument.

Soon this PR is two years old. It's not clear for me why. Any particular reason?

@alexanderadam The reason is the finite nature of the length of the day. We'll get to this as soon as possible.

I too would prefer to have a built in way NOT to have rake be --silent.

This feature would be greatly appreciated. Of course one can define a job type, but sounds like a lot of work for something that sounds simple.

I agree - it would be nice to have this be a simple customizable option.
And I do appreciate all the work folks have done on this gem!
