dotfiles is a collection of configuration files for bash, readline, ssh, and other programs. I have used these files on Debian Linux and Windows 10 under Git bash, but they are likely applicable to other operating systems too.
I hope that these files are useful to others. Please share any feedback in an issue or pull request.

Copy individual configuration snippets as desired,
or run sh install.sh
to install these files.
The files contained herein are organized relative to your user home directory
(cd ~) but can also be placed in /etc/skel to make them applicable to all
new users.
