mastermind - links don't work in task pane

the Click me to learn more about links don't work. mouse turns into a finger when over them but clicking does nothing. can't right click on anything in the task pane either no right click menu for basic things like copy, seeing urls of links, etc.

OS is Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS (Linux)
IDE Android Studio Ladybug | 2024.2.1
academy plugin 2024.9-2024.2-1051

tried to record a screencast but it didn't work, it only recorded as a 0 second length webm for some reason
