Configuring SI to use the database on the host system is ackward #1

I can tell SI to use the host system by editing the config file

  'dbconfig' =>
  array (
    'db_host_name' => `netstat -rn | grep "^0.0.0.0 " | cut -d " " -f10`,

But then obviously, I can't run any scripts from the host system. Think of a solution.
