How to align with reference text while preserving formatting?

When using the result and converting to SRT VTT, the line breaks are sometimes not preserved. Given word level timings, it should be possible to match the aligned words back with the reference text. Is this something that's supported already?

By default. strip=True will remove line breaks at the front or end of each segment. So strip=False should keep the those line breaks.

	Whether to remove spaces before and after text on each segment for output.

This doesn't seem to preserve line breaks.
