I bet that if you show that meter image to any number of random people, >95% of them would answer that the reading is 11.4881. So maybe the bug is with the meter itself. |

Es gab einmal eine Diskussion darüber, den Wert auf 5 zu reduzieren, aber da dieses Problem kaum jemanden betraf, wurde es offenbar verworfen. |

Auch ich habe das gleiche Problem mit einem Wasserzähler der "Wasser-Geräte GmbH" und bekomme es nicht in den Griff. |

soweit ich weiß, wird bei einigen models "Analog/Digital Transition Start" ignoriert. |

There were some disccusions ongoing to this issue in the past but without fully convincing outcome up to now because changing this potentially some other meter types are not fully covered anymore. In this test build the range was extended down to 3. This test build can be downloaded pre-compiled e.g. as OTA update from here: https://github.com/jomjol/AI-on-the-edge-device/actions/runs/9961166515 Be aware, this is only a test build which could have some other flaws instead. If you'd like to test use it on your own risk. You could go back to official supported version also by OTA update, though. |

So, das Problem besteht weiterhin. Der Testbuild lässt auch "nur" Werte bis 5,0 zu, bei mir beginnt der Übergang aber noch früher. Siehe Screenshot. Und dann passiert eben das hier in Home Assistant....
Wie könnte eine Lösung aussehen? Habe den Wert jetzt auf 5 stehen, aber leider reicht das immer noch nicht 😢 und die neue Zahl ist dann auch schon ganz da, wenn der 0,1-Zähler bei 7 oder 8 steht.... |

Und beim weiterlaufen erkennt er dann zwar die frühe Transition Hund geht wieder auf den vorigen Wert, dann gibt es aber negative rate read error. Ich bräuchte wirklich einen Wert unter 5. |

@caco3: Die Änderung in HTML reicht leider nicht aus, da dies in der Firmware auch nochmals verriegelt ist. Das steckt in dem genannten Branch. Sofern du den Rest nicht mergen willst, kann der Branch von mir aus gelöscht werden. |

@caco3 Zugehöriger Commit: f8dd986 Es sind aber noch ein paar weitere Änderungen von Nöten, um das sauber zu unterstützen. Daran hakt es noch. @haverland war nicht vollends einverstanden, daher habe ich das hier im Repo nicht weiter verfolgt. |

Danke, das hilft mir sehr. Aber ich muss gestehen, mit dem verpflichtenden Wechsel meines Zählers ist es einfach maximal doof geworden, weil der viel zu früh umspringt.... Muss ich aber leider auf absehbarer Zeit mit leben. |

The Problem
Hallo, ich habe vor Kurzem einen turnusmäßigen Wechsel des Wasserzählers durch meine Stadtwerke erhalten. Leider habe ich seither Probleme, da der neue Zähler schon SEHR früh mit dem Drehen der letzten digitalen Zahl beginnt (schon bei 0,4 m3).
Ich habe die AnalogDigitalTransistion auf 6 gesetzt, das verzögert die Problematik aber nur, aber beim "falschen" Stand habe ich dann den Sprung VIEL zu früh. Gibt es hier eine Lösung?
