Welcome to the pseudo-channel wiki!

PseudoChannel.py is a python app for creating a curated yet autonomous TV channel using your own media library. The idea is really really simple - spend some time configuring this app to work on your environment (i.e. Raspberry Pi), spend some more time working out your schedule in the XML, and finally just let it run. Since the learning curve is a bit high (at the moment) it's best seen as a home-brewed TV channel for hackers. It isn't difficult to get it set up, but it does require some degree of comfort using the command line, configuring a Raspberry Pi, editing XML, and general problem-solving. That being said, Mark and I are very happy to help anyone and everyone set up their own PseudoChannel.py. We've been tinkering with this thing for the past couple months, so I'm sure that no problem is too big for us to wrap our heads around and solve.
