Short Summary

i just installed kando and i have face some weird problem , first one it some times don't spawn on top , the second that if there is not any window opened it will not run/spawn at all using the shortcut or the icon on the panel , lastly i cant edit the shortcuts using the settings for example if i tried to edit tile left i was not able to enter or write the command

lastes git

Installation Method

Directly from the main branch

Desktop Environment

Any other X11-based environment

Environment Version

endeavour os , Qtile on x11

Hi there! I do not have an installation of Qtile to test this. Are you sure you are running it on X11? What you describe sound a bit like Wayland problems to me. But anyways, seems like Qtile is a special DE which needs special treatment.

I think I currently do not have the time to dig into this, but if anybody wants to add proper support for Qtile, feel free to drop a note here!

So , Yes i am sure that i am using X11 , look like the input problem was not a real problem and it solved after a reboot bcz i have reinstalled the git version instead of the AUR without reboot , but still the two second problem there , and this happen Failed to show menu: Error: Error in native callback after using kando to open an app then closing the app ,the last thing about spawning on the top i couldn't solve it .
I thought this maybe could help and thanks for your time .
