What would you like to be added:
Add the feature of controlling karmada in the dashboard:

  • overview of the karmada components:
    image
  • restart the component
    image
  • scale in and out the components
  • edit the components' raw manifest
  • view the log of karmada components:
    image
  • uninstall/install new karmada components

Why is this needed:
We want to implement the feature of controlling karmada in the dashboard, such as scale in/out of the component, install or uninstall the component of karmada ecosystem, dive into the component by view the log of components' output.

@axif0 Thanks for your enthusiasm, it's glad to hear that you want to make contribution to this task. And we had a online meeting talking about this task days ago, @RainbowMango made some suggestions to this task:

  • We should make a good guide for our end-user, let they be aware of that karmada-dashboard will take control of their host cluster, with higher permission, maybe some changes to our PRD.
  • Currently, we are preparing the release work of karmada-dashboard, so we'll lower the priority and will focus on the todolist in the Prepare for the first realese and list the todos for the new dashboard #76. However, the task is still on our roadmap, it will make the karmada-dashboard more competitive if the feature be implemented.

@warjiang If its possible yaa. Although, I translated the PRD's language (Configuration of karmada components) to english using google lens.
