0 A: But, uh, every once in a while I like to watch some of the old movies. I
0 B: Right. It's on again tonight.
0 B: The only crazy comedy that I really like is SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE [laughter].
1 date --
0 A: I told my wife, sure do wish they had gave us Monday off rather than Friday
1 A: I thought I was going to be smart and get the good kids, wrong.
0 A: Money,
1 don't use it that much either, uh, of course, I'm using it right now
1 A: So, I'm just trying to hang on to my job [laughter].
1 B: Oh, really? [laughter].
0 B: [Laughter].
1 A: That's a T I benefit too [laughter].
0 about, uh, agreeing on what all to do and with, I know they're were
1 B: Um. Uh-huh.
0 B: Yeah.
0 B: I've had a chance to, I had a chance to terminate and, uh, L O A and back
0 A: [/Noise] Well, we did a, uh, we moved, oh, last August and we're getting a
0 B: Huh. She painted the insides dark blue and then the trim,
0 more of a country fan over the years.
0 A: yeah, exactly. Uh that's real important to me. I, I can't stand going to
1 B: and I don't go to them, I don't eat hamburgers anymore but ...
1 A: [Laughter] Well unfortunately I'm not as good about that as you are,
1 [laughter].
0 B: -- it's really sad because they're not doing anything, well
0 A: Yeah, I built three houses in my life and,
1 thirty something and thirty something gets to be a little bit
0 A: -- that go spend all day at work and they want to come home
0 they have got a dock that you can tie up, tie up and it's, and it's in
0 B: Yeah.
0 A: -- depending on, on what she did. I've, I was an engineer
1 B: I guess. [laughter].
1 B: And that helps on utilities. [laughter].
1 A: it will last seven minutes, six minutes,
1 A: If I walk, it will be ten degrees warmer, but it will last twenty minutes.
1 drawing a blank [laughter].
1 have to, you know, like you said, you had to change it, put it on a disc,
0 B: Yeah, yeah. We're pushing real hard though. We're, we're trying, well,
1 B: But wouldn't it be wonderful.
0 B: you all drive at fifty-five, don't you? What's that?
1 B: Yeah, I know, it's a funny degree [laughter].
0 A: [Laughter].
1 A: Oh, well, see, um, [laughter].
0 something.
0 they, they looked like they were just men among boys. But, they, they fell, I
0 A: Uh, no, I don't think so, they, they were right before the, uh, uh, oh,
1 B: I don't know.
1 A: [Laughter].
1 B: [Laughter] I know there must be something more I can do with
0 B: And the first couple weeks they did it nobody got their stuff out so they
0 hope that they would come up. I know there was a brand just briefly on the
0 A: #uh, refuse.#
0 B: #Exactly.#
0 those that have the, uh, electronic panels there's a little push button some
0 driving along whether they're, they're in their early twenty's or, or teens,
0 B: So I don't know,
1 B: Well, let's see, well, we assume I was an adult twenty years ago,
0 B: You could feel that you really have a very strong case and that you're very
1 sometimes, you know, the juries come down with a result and you go, gee
0 kind of, uh, choreographed. It's like a script has been written when people
0 A: I go out, I had all my stuff ((so)), I had my little campfire thing setup
1 A: Got to be, got to be part of the action here.
1 B: Oh, my land. I'd be scared to dead to have anything that expensive
0 mean it's really hard to find a place that's going to offer water aerobics
1 ((we'd)) cut that in half and get some teachers we might have us a problem
0 A: Right,
0 B: #During the year.#
1 B: It's more interesting than the treadmill and the bicycle. Right?
1 [laughter].
0 of those Jane Fonda workout tapes that I dubbed from a friend.
1 Oh no, here we are [laughter].
1 B: [Laughter].
0 nothing like what it used to be.
1 A: [Laughter].
1 success.
1 last place you went out to eat?
0 A: Oh my son does. He's the four year old. I've got a Nintendo that he plays
0 the number of those things that they make. I guess, I think Show Biz and
1 A: -- and it was the nastiest tasting pizza,
1 A: -- you know, and my son, I can't describe him, it's, I don't know, why, or
1 getting into flowers,
1 to keep the lawn alive and green and the weeds out.
0 A: Well, we're going to have to do that because we have the shade, the trees,
1 always end up skimming the headlines, spending too much time,
0 B: They will have maybe two or three main stories and just spend a very large
0 And they, they had all their correspondents in the different areas, in Saudi
0 B: [Laughter].
0 floor sometimes [laughter]. Flip out of the thing.
1 she wouldn't even, she'd kind of look at them like what are you doing now
0 [laughter] that, uh, bibs and blankets, and things like that. Wall hangings,
0 A: [Laughter].
0 A: Yeah.
1 uh, cause me to le-, huh.
1 B: -- to get his oil changed. I'm going, I don't think that's worth it
0 B: Yeah, that's the first one that's made it, and its a four door, it's a nice
0 B: Uh-huh.
0 involvement is kind of over, I hope, [laughter] although, um, from the news,
0 there were several women involved directly in this war where they weren't
0 A: And they don't know how to get back out again.
1 A: Expensive to maintain, and keep the flea powder and the flea dip, and
0 A: Really.
0 older, especially now --
1 A: [/Laughter].
0 A: the, the proper names.
0 B: or about, or about those two newsmen or whatever that got captured.
1 supposedly, you know, cosmic social enlightenment.
1 just really get my military, I married into a military family,
1 a, a whole lot of stuff going on out there.
0 B: Yeah, most, mine generally stay in the windows.
1 Kisses, you know?
0 A: #Uh-huh.#
1 seem to have cash.
1 price back to the cash price or raised all their prices,
0 A: Oh, yeah.
0 Leninist theology is to, I mean it really is its own religion. It, it could
1 A: I'm not saying that either, but that's not what the question asked so
1 [laughter],
0 B: You hate the Bears? I don't really like the Bears either.
0 A: You know, he was in trouble, the time was running out on the clock and he
0 B: Huh. Yeah, that would be interesting to see. I'm, uh, every attempt so
0 far, I think, has failed [laughter] at a second football league [Noises] {in
0 hard, I think, on the immigrants because they come over here all, they, you
0 A: Oh, yes, how well I know. I was laid off last year,
0 but they still persist that the plant will close.
0 all, I've never heard of it until this, this phone call, you know.
1 A: and then he got to serve all these people.
1 A: Well, you, you, you deserve an honor for that, a gold star for that, I
0 B: (( )).
0 B: who knows, if they don't get one maybe they can trade for one.
1 if)) that guy that's in the eleventh row, see, he bought thousand dollar bonds
0 Philippines.
0 Bowl, they did go to the Super Bowl and got beat by Baltimore in the, in the,
0 A: Yeah.
0 A: But since there's so much more to go around, that, that leaves the, the
0 A: Right.
0 man who, uh, who's a fam-, they go to our church,
0 B: Yeah. Well, I have, we have a, uh, recreation center which is almost right
0 B: But you put out a lot of energy, uh, keeping up that pace.
0 A: It's a, it's a lot quicker and, and that way it's completely low impact.
0 A: Uh-huh.
1 you probably don't have that problem whe-, [laughter].
1 B: Yeah, yeah.
1 A: But I didn't want to go to Texas.
1 A: Yeah, it, it looks really po-, potent stuff.
1 A: and plus it's keeping his marriage [laughter],
1 B: Uh, me I'm a firm believer in that if you got it spend it.
0 B: Oh [laughter].
0 A: [Laughter] Well it will make, it will make them taste better I'm sure.
0 called cabbage,
0 left but a stem,
1 A: I don't know unless it,
0 while they were doing their thing to keep copying files out.
1 B: I really don't have too much to lose if I mess it up too bad [laughter].
0 A: Sure.
0 B: I imagine that would be a bear to work on, you know, [breathing] uh,
0 here I guess all the rest of the country and,
1 where I could)) trade my car off every two years.
0 A: Well, that's great.
0 B: What, what was remarkable, this van, even with, the, we have two kids, and
0 A: Oh.
0 guess.
0 B: But you could start your own anyway. Get a pamphlet,
0 A: Oh.
1 B: Well, that's why I did what I did. I went into teaching [laughter].
1 A: Yeah. Oh yeah, we've had one as long as I can remember [laughter].
1 A: No, I never really thought about it [laughter].
0 A: Yeah, for about four weeks.
0 B: Uh-huh, I like swimming. Uh-huh.
1 B: Yeah really.
1 A: [Laughter] Yeah but,
0 A: Like that orthopedist said to me, he said, don't worry Diane, he
0 B: Yeah [laughter].
0 A: Well, anything else about exercise we can talk about.
1 A: An-, you know, I do like to have my guns.
0 B: Do you belong to a gun club or you?
0 to see somehow they tie the legislation into not only when you buy a weapon
0 B: And there's, there's no waiting period on that.
1 A: No. None whatsoever #[laughter].#
0 control. I mean regulation. Control is something that I wouldn't want the
1 A: [Laughter] Obviously you have kids.
1 B: Right.
1 A: -- you ought to make it at least semi-,
0 A: Yeah, and as long as we keep paying the money for it, they are going to
1 A: Nothing surprised me any more seeing it on the T V, you know.
1 regular T V that we watched, we had to watch an hour of public T V
1 B: Yeah, we try to stay up, too [laughter].
0 A: Oh, really.
0 to the kids for free, you know, and get them sucked in, and then they sell it
0 B: -- in July, so we're starting.
0 [clicking] Austin, and one at home, and I always say that I've learned so much
1 up on occasion.
1 or two,
1 B: -- so we need a car that's big enough for six.
0 A: Right.
0 And they just laughed at me. And I went the next morning to Arlington, and
1 A: Yeah, and then, oh, they do ride nice, too.
0 A: -- though. Uh, course I have a sun roof and I open it up,
1 A: So I just walked across the street and bought a car [laughter] --
0 A: -- if I had to, you know.
0 B: -- compared to, you know, Ford and everybody. So I, I didn't know anyone
0 A: But, uh,
0 seats,
0 A: Absolutely.
0 A: Oh, okay.
0 qualifying test and then try to go to Tech the next year.
1 real glad my husband knows something about cars,
0 A: [Laughter].
1 A: Oh, Lord [laughter].
0 B: I finally, with my elbow, rang the doorbell and mother came to the door
0 B: I wanted my brother to help me with this. That was, he took the phone
1 B: I, I've not tried it since.
0 they all come out.
0 except for the language situation, some of the ((cultures)) she's just about
0 have a yearly fee and then we have a card that our bank put out on a
0 A: and, of course, we don't plan on keeping it the second year,
0 they'll take it, you know, at the cash price, or you, they'll now let you
1 A: That would be wonderful, wouldn't it? [laughter].
0 A: or something? Uh, h-, how is that going to affect the, uh, sports
0 A: To, uh, uh, well, connect them into a modem somehow.
0 of [breathing] surviving in this world, and [breathing] their rebellions right
0 B: I think it's such a shame that the Iraqis had to just go destroy
0 B: Yeah, I think Bush handled, has handled this whole situation quite well.
0 B: who has had to go through all of this and the suffering. I'm sure with
0 B: Yeah, yeah.
1 B: I don't know what to do about it.
1 B: But, uh, I guess, as long as you are single, you have to support yourself
0 A: it's just,
0 would not be something that she were elected to.
0 period. There's, you know, you, you drive down the street and there's one on
0 A: That is scary, I didn't think about that [/noise].
1 probably they ca-, they probably can't find them [laughter] so what the deal
0 have the,
0 something out of, Ali Baba and the forty thieves, you kno-,
0 B: Yeah.
0 B: They, pretty brave.
1 it's not going to be so humid,
1 B: -- he's just wa-, he feels like he's burning like he's been baking for an
0 hour [laughter].
1 A: That's right.
0 A: Can't get there from here.
0 B: And, uh, I mean --
0 uh, honestly, if you feel you have something to hide that would tend to make
0 that there does need to be some, some, uh, thought given to it some serious
0 B: Yes.
0 A: All right, well I have a lot of different teams that I like to, to keep in
0 another they, attract, uh, so many people from, som-, I mean they're a, it's a
0 B: so, uh, and, uh, and the kids are usually, uh, playing out in the back.
0 A: Oh, uh-huh.
0 B: #you know,# (( )) had to put, have, be discussed.
0 B: #Oh, your kidding.#
1 A: Thirty something [laughter].
0 A: That and ((thus)) think, I mean, I don't know, I went to, uh, even though
0 B: Right, and in this area there's so much going on volunteer wise like for
0 proposal as opposed to anything mandated like the old selective service or
0 ((desk)) top publishing and everything, so it's,
0 A: Your husband, what, what group is your husband in?
0 I've lost track, so.
1 A: Uh-huh.
0 B: -- building communities. Someone just recently said something really neat
0 A: I like that kind of stuff. I think the last novel I read I read, I guess,
1 A: Wow, must be nice.
0 A: -- instead of just the guilty party pays.
1 B: Uh-huh. Yeah.
1 A: -- or think about looking at the mountains, you got to throw in a dollar.
0 A: Yeah, yeah.
0 B: I don't work [laughter].
0 B: Yeah, well, you never, I don't think you ever lose that, that which you
0 were born here.
1 start in the evening and then go to bed,
0 B: You too, dear.
1 B: #[Laughter]# This is really neat.
0 A: And I've been making a hot sandwich. I toast a piece of whole wheat bread,
1 B: -- lots of vegetables,
0 B: Uh-huh. And, um, also they have these, uh, wasps, the, the, uh, larvae,
0 A: #Oh!#
0 B: #He# and some friends of his. The first time they've ever done anything
0 B: Oh, my goodness. I have been on the L S U Campus once. I took a
0 B: #So,# we follow your basketball team,
0 then just keep watering it and then after about, about eight weeks after you
0 B: Oh, yeah. I knew, I knew people who did that years ago,
0 A: Yeah. In fact I'm pretty sure TI has something like that because, uh, one
0 B: I really am. But, then I'm a product of my generation, I don't know, if I
0 B: Our economy in Colorado Springs fell completely apart.
0 B: [Child].
0 A: Oh, that's great.
0 A: Well, is it real expensive then?
0 familiar with the same places.
0 A: Yeah.
1 A: Well.
0 I mean, I don't know, I haven't heard the evidence yet. [laughter]
0 they got the lawyer and he's now going to side with the cate, with the state,
0 A: Pretty interesting, huh.
1 A: And, uh, [laughter] you know how they are at that age, I guess.
1 A: Oh, we have one.
0 A: A Keeshonden.
1 A: With every passing day we wonder if we will be.
1 A: No, no.
0 B: [laughter] Yeah, yeah.
1 A: and, uh, kids eat funny.
1 A: So, I understand about bass.
0 B: It's, uh, I heard it's twenty bucks a whack. For adults.
0 in general and voiced who heard about the program.
1 they don't even know,
0 newspaper sort of on our lap on the way in, in the car, so we have the
0 well to some of the newspaper and television articles about the fact that
1 B: #I see.# Okay.
1 A: Yeah. It, uh, justice system, #uh, and, uh,#
1 A: But, I didn't think anybody, you know, they all deserved to go to jail
0 A: Yeah.
1 background. I'll take my job any day.
1 both agree [laughter].
0 B: And, uh, so, when we are doing wardrobing and we have, uh, two, two hour
0 B: But, uh, the mini skirt many times will evoke comments you don't really
0 a lot of companies that are very strict about what the employees wear and they
0 luck with it, uh, no problems. I'm just changing my preference, for what type
0 selling anything else you have to find someone who wants that particular item.
1 B: Yeah, yeah.
0 money and that's terrible to look at it that way, but.
1 B: It's not DELIVERANCE, but it's pretty good.
1 B: and we were set up in about five minutes, ten minutes. (( )).
1 she said I'm going into town and we're going to buy some long johns.
0 River.
0 B: That's a lot of fun.
0 B: And, uh, [throat_clearing] that's a lot of fun, then they have a, uh,
0 A: Uh-huh.
0 you want to call them bad guys, they are going to get a gun no matter what.
1 [laughter].
0 B: and then the shells are in another part [noise] and it's something to think
0 B: Uh-huh.
0 A: Uh,
1 winter rye out back, and we have, I don't even know what it is out front,
0 that thing, you know, and spread it all out everywhere, but that's about the
1 A: Well, um, I don't have a lot of time to watch T V, unfortunately
0 nearly enough of those. Those, and the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC ones,
1 know, who they are raking over the coals [laughter].
0 trying to guess at the end of the show, you know, and they always have the
0 B: Uh-huh. That's, that's what I do. I always, I vote in the national
0 this, these elections whether it's, you know, local or national, you pretty
0 people thought when they ended the poll tax, you know, many years ago that
1 A: Uh-huh.
0 throughout the conversation. I have noted the times that you
1 [breathing] [laughter],
1 [laughter],
0 B: but to us, you know, we're going, oh, we're so glad we have a brick home,
0 and college there. So I've been down here for about eight years, but, uh, I
1 B: That's not too close to the real thing [laughter].
1 A: huge loaf of bread,
1 A: I couldn't believe it.
1 A: Oh, I see, I see [laughter].
1 #[laughter].#
1 what is this?
0 B: -- keeps me going. I, I've seen it #twice now [laughter].#
0 A: #Yeah. Th-, that# sounds a lot like a Walt Disney film.
1 A: to go over there and stay about twenty years so I can just travel.
1 A: Okay, big deal. Here's some rocks sitting out in the middle #of a field.
0 A: [Laughter].
0 B: Uh-huh.
0 B: #Yeah.#
1 A: But, you know, critically acclaimed. Oh, good grief. Give me a break.
1 But people who bring kids #irritates the heck out of me. [/talking].#
0 hours [child_talking], they just averaged it all out,
1 A: Can't deduct it so what's it good for [laughter].
0 what, uh, how messy they can get and are they going to put on a good, a good
0 B: that's quite a range.
0 A: Well, Latin,
1 B: to think that we're richer and yet everybody is intellectually poorer
0 [laughter].
1 A: -- when she was younger, she used to do that to get even with me,
0 cost, you know, twenty dollars for tests and forty dollars for this and, and,
1 all over.
1 A: -- I'm, I'm looking for another cat for them. Uh,
1 that's the only,#
0 B: #Absolutely.#
