Most people will be able to use the default patch set (2-channel stereo, using USB interface channels 1 & 2 for capture and playback). In some cases, such as a USB interface where you want to use channels 3 and 4, you might need to create and use a different patch set.
The patch settings are loaded by the app start script as set in its config file, and can be changed by first creating a new patch file, then changing the config setting to use the new patch file.
Make a Working Patch
First you'll need to find a patch set that works:
launch Jamulus (or SonoBus, they have separate patch files) using the desktop icon..
launch Patchage using the desktop icon. (QJackCtl is available from the menu, but Patchage is recommended).
change patches until you find the setting you want.
Save the Patch with aj-snapshot
Open a terminal window, then use aj-snapshot to save the current patch set in directory "~/.config/aj-snapshot/

Only the filename is needed, default directory is ~/.config/aj-snapshot/
