Unable to type in variable name stdout/stderr section

I have started my program in debugger mode(F5) and tried to see the content of a variable by tring to type in the variable name in stdout/stderr section but unable to type anything there.

I came here for the same issue, what I found is that you can actually type, but you cannot see what you are typing, try typing a variable name and click enter the console will work as expected, even though you didn't see any change in the input field...
still a bug, but it's a bug in the view
