Peering Buddy is just putting a bunch of API queries together with some logic, making our life "easier".

install

git clone git@github.com:kiraum/peering_buddy.git
python3 -m venv venv
. venv/bin/activate
pip3 install -U pip uv
uv pip install -r requirements.txt

configuration

PeeringDB apply an aggressive rate-limit for anonymous requests, so if you are facing "ERROR | PeeringDB rate-limit.", please configure add your PeeringDB user/password to pbuddy/config.py:

PDB_USERNAME = "Your_User!"
PDB_PASSWORD = "Your_Pass!"

PeeringDB still apply rate-limit for authenticated requests, but the valeus are more than enough for mostly of the cases. If you want to understand more about, check the current (PeeringDB configurations](https://github.com/peeringdb/peeringdb/blob/master/mainsite/settings/__init__.py#L302).

use it
