When I need to modify the pet store command I use search instead of exec.
In this case, I need copy paste pet search result.
We can improve search command which put after current terminal pointer. like fzf command do when we use Ctrl + R for search history.
This improvement need in the search command.

Hi,

This feature woild be very much appreaciated. As a workoarodund, you could use pbcopy, e.g.:

$ pet search | pbcopy
$

Then the line is in the clipboard.

I found that I like to have it also printed on the screen, hence slightly more sophisticated command:

$ pet search | tee /dev/tty | pbcopy ; echo
scp -P 2024 rms@teliavpn:/tmp/* ~/Downloads/
$

I have it under a keyboard shortcut in my SSH manager.

Anyway, this is only a workaround - improvement in the tool would be fantastic!

Best regards,
Jarek
