Hello all, i would like to suggest some ideas for future development since i love the app so much. Unfortunately i don't know anything about coding and i don't really have time to learn ( I wish i did). And even if the following suggestion aren't done or if they are too much work and you guys don't have time for it, i truly appreciate the work you guys put into the app and i still consider it the best app i've used so far. So thanks for all your work and hope you guys never drop the app and continue developing it.
1- before finding this app i used to download anime and manga and manually organize them, so i would love the app to have the function of a local library. This function was added somewhat in update 3.5 so it's a work in progress i think. But to add more to that functionality i suggest having the ability to add a folder not just episodes. As well as link the entry manually added with its data from a tracker like myanimelist.com. Right now with update 3.5 you can add episodes and create an entry for a series but you can't put a cover image or add it to a tracker.
This can be great for people who already have a big library and even if an extensions breaks you can still use the app for your downloaded content that was downloaded outside of mangayomi.
2- if that's too much work there's a method i tested which worked only for mp4 files. If you start a download for a series it will create a folder in the download directory. then paste the episodes you already have into that folder and change their names to (Episode [number of episode] ) and then click the download button again and it will quickly load the episode you have in the folder and considers it as downloaded. However, what i would love to have is that to function for other formats not just mp4 since some download sites use mkv as an example. another method is to manually link each episode to the app using the import option which would save the trouble of having to link each new import to a tracker. That way since each site already has tags and a summary and a cover art all you need to do is link each episode or the folder as a whole to that anime entry in your managyomi list.
3- it would be nice to have downloaded or watched content automatically into certain categories like downloaded or watching / watched or finished., without having to do it manually. Automated progress tracking for favorites and organizing would be a nice feature.
4- i'm not sure if this one already exists and i haven't found it yet so if it exists pardon me . The feature is importing favorites or lists from sites directly. so if you have a manga site you used before the app and you want to import the list from the site to the app that would make things easier for you instead of having to manually add each manga/ anime.
Lastly, i apologize if i sound needy or lazy XD. I'm just suggesting ideas and in no way i'm demanding anything. Always thank you for your great work and no matter what mad respect to you all.
