- uBlock is give you more control.
- uBlock have many request types to be observe in logger and also can block more than other adblockers, such as
beacon
,websocket
,csp
,worker
and many more... - uBlock can override the exception with
$important
to ignore the whitelist that possibly to unbreak, but meanwhile it's open the gate tothird-party
, such as some sites can detect the use of content blocker extensions or missing network request and prevent you to access those sites unless you whitelist site or turn off blocking. (aka. AdBlock Detection)- Note: only when found the solution that can inject the internal resources to fix the problem.
- uBlock is strictly blocking and not support to allow ads bypassed at certain pages due to not support
$document
tag for acting like AdBlock Plus behaviour, this mean only you can control the switch to disable or re-enable blocking for that pages/domains/sites. - uBlock is lighter than AdBlock Plus, and also can install this extension in Gecko-based browser (Only Android platform)
- AdBlock Plus itself is have "Allow non-intrusive ads" that added as default. (You can disabled it later, but IMO, I don't use this extension anymore.)
Note: meaning of uBlock in here is uBlock Origin, the only one pure open-source (no paid, no monetize, no data mining, none of requests to donate, ...)
