Non-ascii characters in the title and description text is are mangled #21

The plugin seems to assume a charset that does not support non-ascii characters and they end up (consistently) wrong. For example:

ä is replaced with Ã¤
ö is replaced with Ã¶

There were problems also with other characters but those are most common in the texts I share so they are easy to verify.
