Hi, I just discovered Winger today, and I was very happy to find that it allows me to do something I've wanted to do for a long time, to give Firefox windows names, and to easily move tabs between windows. It helps so much in organizing my browsing and keeping the number of tabs and windows under control. These features ought to be built-in, but barring that, Winger does a great job of providing them. Thank you for your work on it!
I was mildly disappointed (though not surprised) to see that AMO shows, "This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing." An extension as useful and well-developed as Winger ought to have the official seal of approval so it can be more widely appreciated. Is this something that could be requested or moved toward being eligible for?
My motivation may be somewhat selfish, as well: having used Firefox since before it was called that, I've seen useful extensions come and go (even before the XUL apocalypse), and I've even provided one myself (a fork of one that went awry), and it seems like having the AMO "seal of approval" may encourage Mozilla to keep Firefox compatible with it, helping to keep the extension functional in the future (without the maintainer's having to go to great lengths to unbreak it now and then).
