This script converts a MIB view defined with asterisks to the mask notation used in EXOS configuration
A Python 2 environment (including the Python environment included in EXOS 15.6+)
usage: mibview.py [-h] mibString
Convert wildcarded OID MIB views into OID/mask format as used by EXOS.
positional arguments:
mibString Wildcard MIB string to be translated into OID/mask format
optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
$ ./mibview.py 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.*.1.*.*
1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.0.1.0.0/FF4
