Currently rom patching is support by one patch file and one rom file. It would be nice to have a feature where many rom patches can be applied against the same rom. This would alleviate the need to copy paste the same rom and renaming to try out different game modifications and also save an amount of file space.
It's more to pick a single patch out of a list of many, so not exactly the same as the linked item.
The idea being that you may want to play the original game unmodified, then play it with a randomizer patch or with uncensored GFX and be able to choose which version to play.

Usage Example
e.g.:
MyRom.gba
MyRom.EnglishTranslation.ips
MyRom.Randomizer.ips
MyRom.GfxMod.ips
When choosing MyRom.gba you then select the patch or none to apply.
