Think it would be nice if Ctrl+MouseWheel zooming would also (like "Zoom in on mouse" mode) take in account the current mouse position when zooming in.

(I can't remember not thinking this whenever I used Nip2 ;-) )

Perhaps same for keyboard zoom shortcuts (1..9).

Thinking here that when Ctrl-Mw is mouse aware, but keyboard zoom shortcuts are not. Most users will probably ignore the keyboard zoom shortcuts due to the lack of the additional zoom control (compared to Ctrl-Mw).

(Thinking zoom-out could potentially also be mouse aware, which would kinda complete this behaviour across the board for Nip2)

Hello, yes, good idea.

This is supposed to be the image view window for nip3:

And it does what you suggest, more or less. So it's coming!
