This repo aims to be a template in which a blog post made in markdown will be automatically posted to a corresponding nostr blog site, with relays and npub keys specified in the setup.
Examples of nostr blog sites are habla.news and blogstack.io. Some but not all relays will accept long form content. Please check the spec over here: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/23.md
We use an astro starter blog, but the automatic repost setup can be used with any astro blog or markdown blog.
The script we create to auto post to nostr can be reused elsewhere for different applications.
Other code Examples to checkout for auto posting to nostr:
npm create astro@latest -- --template blog

Inside of your Astro project, you'll see the following folders and files:
├── public/
├── src/
│ ├── components/
│ ├── content/
│ ├── layouts/
│ └── pages/
├── astro.config.mjs
├── README.md
├── package.json
└── tsconfig.json
Astro looks for .astro
or .md
files in the src/pages/
directory. Each page is exposed as a route based on its file name.
There's nothing special about src/components/
, but that's where we like to put any Astro/React/Vue/Svelte/Preact components.
The src/content/
directory contains "collections" of related Markdown and MDX documents. Use getCollection()
to retrieve posts from src/content/blog/
, and type-check your frontmatter using an optional schema. See Astro's Content Collections docs to learn more.
Any static assets, like images, can be placed in the public/
directory.
