Generally, the project have been moving faster with an increase number in PR merged and contributors. That's exciting !
0.0.13 is pending on few more reviews : #827/#826 #207 is required for the sample.
#642 is still waiting a high-level review ACK.
Should Rust-Lightning commit to a release cycle similar to BDK ? So far the project has been moving forward with a ad hoc "feels like some things have changed lets release". 8 weeks release cycles sounds a good target once the project is more mature.
Val's has been working on lightweighted version, more focus than previous attempt. Once it's a bit stable, beta testers are invited to run a small network of sample nodes. Also running automated tests in a CI.
sgeisler is okay to move lightning-invoice in main-tree to make easier integration with invoices.
Overtorment has been great providing great feedback on APIs.
Current block-sync needed to be retweaked a bit to adapt to Electrum flow.
Point of Sales is missing in the documentation part. For now, it might be better to have per-use cases documentation. To be tested with readers.
Pavlenex is still getting familiarity with the project.
Pavlenex and Steve have been thinking organizing online workshops/hackathons. To be shared with BDK, Photon and the design guide.
Trampoline implementation is up to grabs. Watchtowers and bolt13 adoption is likely also to be favored.
