I downloaded Acorn-1.0.1-alpha.AppImage and ran it once but didn't make any changes. Do you have recommendations, tips, protocols, etc, for new people to get started?

I understand other people will have experiments etc running at the same time in the same Acorn DNA (right?) I have keywords to join a couple of existing projects.

Anything special that I should do or not do?

For some reason, I can't run version 2.1.1-alpha. I opened it in the terminal and it said that I am running without a local db encryption and I get stuck at electing your acorns. Is this because version 3.0.0-alpha has been released or is it something to do with Holochain? Thanks.

Congratulations on releasing with holochain beta.
I just wanted to mention that when I downloaded the Acorn setup for windows on chrome it marked it as being potentially dangerous. (potentially dangerous for them🤣🤣) But that won't stop me from enjoying the creation that this team has put in.

Thanks! Yes, excellent point. We were aware however we forgot to note that in the release notes. We will do for now, but soon enough hope to get a signing certificate from Microsoft to clear that up!

Just throwing out an idea that I had a little while ago.
Say you want to assign 5 or 10 cards to a person, instead of going in each card you could select the cards and assign them there.
This could be expanded to tags or change the achievement status.

Just found out that I can actually open acorn in my browser. Ctrl Click the Acorn button (Top left) and it opens in the browser. Not everything is rendered correctly but I think it is really cool.

If you have multiple open instances on the browser they don't update, they only send information to Acorn.
There is no auto update with information, only what is sent so you have to reload the page to get new information.
