Does Sunshine support Pipewire on Linux? NVENC not working, & do I need root privelages?

I'm setting up Sunshine with a Geforce GTX 960 in a KVM virtual machine on Manjaro Gnome. At the moment I'm installing ffmpeg-full from the AUR, because it looks like the one from the repositories might not support NVENC. While I'm waiting for that to finish, I thought I'd post about the error message that was saying I had no Pulseaudio installed. I'm using Pipewire, because pulseaudio makes the sound stutter and bug out on every linux machine I've ever used extensively.

Will Pipewire work with Sunshine? If so do I have to do something to get it to use Pipewire?

I'm using the Sunshine package from AUR. It seems to throw error messages if not run as administrator too, which is another issue that I should follow up. I'm not sure if that's specific to the AUR package I'm using, or whether I need to change something to allow Sunshine access to whatever it's getting from root access that it's not getting from running without it.

Currently installing ffmpeg-cuda from AUR...
ffmpeg-cuda doesn't seem to have improved things.

On another note, this is the error I get when I don't run with sudo:

I read somewhere that nVidia have abandoned support for nvenc on older cards since about driver 470, which is the one I have installed.
I'll try 390 and see how it goes. Doubtful.

390 doesn't even boot. 490 from the nvidia website blacklists Nouveau and the system won't boot once that's happened.
So I guess I'm out of options for the moment.

Nvidia blocks NvFBC on consumer cards (not quadro). You need a patched version of nvidia libraries.

Replacing nvidia-utils with the AUR package nvidia-utils-nvlax will do this.

Also for this: "Error: Failed to gain CAP_SYS_ADMIN", it tells you in the journalctl how to fix that:
sudo setcap cap_sys_admin+p /path/to/sunshine
