The following is a list of every known issue with this plugin.
In Musescore3 microtonal accidentals are graphic only, and don't affect playback. As such, changing between concert pitch on and off leaves them unchanged, potentially spelling the wrong note.
This could cause the plugin to apply the incorrect tuning offset. The following is a workaround to avoid this issue:
- Write the correct accidental with the score displayed at concert pitch, and run the plugin. At this point you can turn the concert pitch option off, and replace the accidentals that have to be replaced. Since they don't affect playback, you will have a score with both correct notation and playback.
In Musescore4 microtonal accidentals affect playback, but due to a bug they are not handled correctly when switching between concert pitch on and off. In these cases the playback is correct, but the accidental written on the score could be wrong.
This could cause the plugin to apply the incorrect tuning offset. To avoid this issue there is a partial workaround:
- Write the correct accidental with the score displayed at concert pitch, and run the plugin. At this point you can turn the concert pitch option off. Unfortunately, since microtonal accidentals affect playback, you can't replace them as you would do in Musescore3, so this method leaves you with a score having the correct playback, but wrong notation.
