Use .md vs .json

I'm new to this app and note-taking system. But I'm using obsidian for a while and the fact that everything is a simple text file is pretty convenient.
Now I wanted to ask this feature to save files in Markdown, this way it is possible to use obsidian and linked side by side.

Yeah correct! In theory there is a possibility, just that with MD you'd loose the features that linked provides. Perhaps I might need to dig deeper into obsidians way of preserving faetures outside of markdown to make it possible.

In general, while linked accepts markdown as an input, it actually handles the documents with https://yjs.dev and https://prosemirror.net

Exactly it would be awesome if we can use linked to write all the daily notes and see them inside a folder in obsidian and vice versa this way it would help both obsidian and linked users to grow. It's a total win-win.
